My hectic schedule has barely left me any time to breathe and while checking the items, I found one of the bags (the green one) missing so I had to spend some time checking with the supplier. Turns out that that bag was out of stock at the point of shipment, so I will be refunding the affected participant shortly.

Apart from that, everything else is in stock (hooray) and I have already packaged them nicely, ready to be dispatched by this weekend.

30 July 2007 (Monday): According to the supplier, some restocking needs to be done. Hence I will only be making payment after the availability of stocks is confirmed, probably within the next couple of days.

1 August 2007 (Wednesday): Payment has been made to supplier. There are some changes to the orders. Will give details and make the necessary refund(s) by ~~this weekend~~ the coming Monday. Sorry for the delay!

7 August 2007 (Tuesday): So sorry for the delay in updating. My schedule's been crazy these past several days so I haven't really had time to sit down and update properly.

First things first, the good news! Our parcel should be arriving tomorrow. =) Will package and dispatch them asap

8 August (Wednesday): Good news! Our parcel has arrived today and all the items have just been packaged (until almost 4am now...). Now what's left is for the remaining participants to post your details and I'll dispatch whatever I can (i.e. those packages with addresses) by this weekend when the Post Office resumes operation after the National Day holiday. Will update again after I have sent the packages out. =)

10 August (Friday): Went down to the Post Office today but unfortunately some of the packages were heavier than expected, thus the initial postage paid was insufficient.

17 May 2007 (Thursday): Orders consolidated and sent. Will be making payment tomorrow.

20 May 2007 (Sunday): The supplier should be shipping our parcel out within the next couple of days, and if all goes well, hopefully it'll reach us mid-week! Hence, I'll be collecting the second payment first, so I can dispatch as many packages as possible before I leave on the 25th!

Here's a breakdown of the additional charges.

International shipping cost per item = SGD$1.599 = SGD$1.60 (round-up)

17 May 2007 (Thursday): The news everyone has been waiting for - all but 12 of the packages have been sent this afternoon. (If you posted your mailing details by 12 noon today, then you're one of them!)

If you're wondering (or have already voiced your doubts aloud), why only now?

Even though the items arrived on Monday (and you topped up promptly on the same day upon receiving my email), do note that I will need time to sort out and package all the (close to 100) items. But why do I need to take a whole 3 days to do so?
Well, actually I have already packaged all the items by Tuesday, after staying up to almost 4am to do so. Why didn't I dispatch them immediately then?
The top-ups trickled in. You may have topped up promptly (for that, thank you for making my job easier), but that does not mean that the rest followed suit. Please do not expect me to run to the post office everyday to dispatch package by package. So why Thursday, and not Tuesday or Wednesday then?
As mentioned, I cannot possibly be running to the Post Office daily to send the packages. Hence I'm accumulating the packages and dispatching them in a maximum of 2 trips to the Post Office, the first being today. Why no updates after asking for top-ups?
Simply because there's nothing really substantial to update about until I've dispatched the packages, unless you want me to flood your mailbox with reminders demanding top-ups. :p

And just to point out, I'm not one to stinge on updates (the participants in my previous sprees can vouch for that). In fact, you might even find me dropping in just to say hi (on this page of course) - just that you might not like me to flood your mailbox with unimportant emails (that's why I asked you guys to bookmark this page for updates).

Whew, that was lengthy. Nevertheless, I hope the above answers your nagging doubts or suspicions (if any). =)

If you 1) opted for normal mail, 2) topped up and posted your details between 12 noon on 17 May and yesterday afternoon, your package has been mailed (except linglova's, because your package is too bulky to be stuffed into the normal mailbox slot).
For the remaining participants who opted for registered mail (as well as linglova), your packages will be mailed asap - hopefully by tomorrow if I can rush down before the Post Office closes. The registered article numbers will be included in the final update, which will be sent only after I've completed the distribution.
Lastly, to hersheyzme, the sole participant who has yet to respond: Please do so by 24th May if you want your package to be sent before I leave on the 25th. Otherwise, I can only send your item out after I'm back on 1st June.

2nd April 2007 (Monday): Consolidated and emailed orders for Batch 1 to supplier yesterday night. Waiting for him/her to revert with the cost, after which I will proceed to make payment promptly.
